I am one of those who have been watching Nottingham Forest's performance since the start of the season and it went well until the middle of the season I'm even pretty confident in saying they'll stay in the top 4-5 but unfortunately the problem came when approaching the end of the season, Nottingham only managed to secure a spot in the Europa League and yeah like you said it's another win.
As for whether Nottingham have given Chelsea a place in the Champions League that has yet to be confirmed, what is clear is that if Nottingham manage to secure a ticket, it will surely bring them financial benefits so it doesn't make sense if they give it for free.
I'm pretty sure many of us here also have almost the same thoughts as you about Nottingham. Because they have surprised everyone since the start of the season. At the start they even managed to beat Liverpool and several other strong teams. So no one expected that Nottingham would fail towards the end of the season. Or, more precisely, they have experienced a decline since mid-season. And this is truly very unfortunate. In fact, if Nottingham can maintain their quality until the end then I believe they deserve 3rd place. Unfortunately they did weaken towards the end of the season. I'm not sure of the reasons behind their weakening performance from mid-season to the end of the season. But what is clear is that the strength they showed at the start of the season was real. And if they are able to do the same thing next season then it could be a good opportunity for Nottingham to get a ticket to one of the European competitions. This season should be a valuable lesson for Nottingham so that they don't make any more mistakes next season.
