One thing about the forum is that with every passing season, it doesn't get all that easy. Ranking up wasn't all that deficult in the past but at present we can all see that it's not as easy as it use to be. For you to rank up at the present, you have to work for it and earn every bit of it or else ranking up will almost look impossible. Also, in the past, there use to be a lot of rank up post that helped newbies rank up easily and because of the limited numbers of newbies on the forum, the merits allocated to merit source were always enough to go round all those that are quality posters.

Even though things have become relatively tougher, the advantage we have now is that we have more of quality posters ranking up than just casual persons that are in the forum for the sake of what they stand to gain from the forum. It might not be what everyone will like but it's definitely a good thing that while we are all ranking up, we are equally growing as well.
