We won't blame the foreigners who came to make fortune out of African nations. It's the greedy leaders who are to be blamed. We had the right to say no to some bargains and proposals but we were keen towards immediate benefits not minding what the future held.
The new revolution is making wave across most African countries but the only foreign countries that will get affected are those who have leveraged on the greed of African leaders, the likes of France but those on mutual grounds will have nothing to lose.
In those days, development was far from the Africans, for change to come we traded our treasure for what we think was developed we can indirectly say we were giving the wrong things in return of our treasures not knowing what we have is what is worth it.
The moral of lesson here is, we don't value what we have. Till date we still don't value our resources, our production, our services which is why one way or another we will always be deceived.
