Why some people are so sure about Cristiano Ronaldo going into brasilian football? I mean a lot of mid players goes into it or even great players with Brazilian passport, but why he is gonna go there, when for sure he can go into Sporting Lisboa or even better clubs of europe, and even MLS.

I confess that I asked myself the same question when I read some posts in this thread about this possibility. I thought it was a joke. Cristiano Ronaldo wouldn't give up a good salary to go play in the Brazilian league, which is a very different league; there he would simply be forgotten. It would be worth more to him if he went to the US league because he would be paid a good salary and could probably be given shares in the club that hired him as part of the deal.

In Brazil, he wouldn't earn anything useful, he wouldn't earn much money, he wouldn't get attention, he wouldn't have shares in the club that hired him. Just look at how great players like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Robinho ended up... all of them were forgotten when they went to the Brazilian league.

Cristiano Ronaldo will absolutely not move to a Brazilian league just because of the Club World Cup because he will not settle for a lower salary or fewer benefits based on the fact that he wouldn’t want to be forgotten just like the former great players who were forgotten in lesser leagues.
Well, there might be a club that can be able to afford him, just as Santos bought Neymar Jr for such a huge deal.Well, Ronaldo wouldn’t consider a move to the US because of Messi's dominance in the league. If he moves to MLS, he won’t be the king anymore because Messi has dominated the league, and they are both too old for competition in the same league at their current ages.
