Welcome to the Local Board in Naija.
With time, the number of scammers in the crypto world is increasing day by day. To protect yourself from them, you need to follow some rules and regulations, such as

.Never share your wallet's private key and sheet phrase with anyone.
.Turn on 2FA Authentication before using it on an exchange.
.There are many fake apps on Google Play Store, be careful about this, if you install them, all your information will be passed on to the scammer.
.Some scammers may encourage you to buy scam tokens through Telegram.
.Stay away from any website or exchange that will give you 10 times the profit of your investment in a short time. There is profit and risk in Crypto, no one can guarantee 100% profit.
.Be careful if you are asked to connect a wallet in the name of Free Token or Airdrop Sometimes, when you connect your wallet on these sites, the scammer gets control of your account.
.Use a hardware wallet like Ledger or Trezor, for large amounts.
.Before registering on any exchange or website, make sure that it is verified.
