Honestly, saying "there is no need to regret buying" is easy to say when you are looking at a chart that mostly goes up. But tell that to someone who bought at an all-time high and watched their portfolio bleed for months, or even years. Regret is a real human emotion, and pretending it doesnt exist when people lose money is just naive. The past cant be changed, true, but its effects certainly linger.
