I am Just wondering do you ever think in the far future we could use btc to send money b/w different planet like from Earth to Mars is that even possible
Like With all that the time delay & no Global Government / system in space then how could that even work?
Would we need the separate blocKchain for each of the planet?
I know it's the hypothetical right now but curious what people think
It's unfortunate to admit that even if we moved to Mars or other distant galaxies, our systems on Earth would not change. Maybe if we hadn't witnessed the internet technology revolution, we would have taken our dollars and money printers to Mars, wherever we settled.
Bitcoin is a viable solution if the person or entity implementing the Mars project is not affiliated with any government on Earth, is not subject to any central authority, and does not want to be controlled by any central authority. This party can use Bitcoin and will not be required to create an independent blockchain there, because the network can be shared between two planets, with consideration given the delay, as waves take longer to travel between Mars and Earth.
A wonderful hypothesis. I hope it will be realized in the way I envisioned.
