I guess this is what everyone’s thinking now… but I can’t help but wonder, what if the league decides to stretch this to Game 7 on purpose, but still lets the Pacers win the championship in the end?
That would catch a lot of people off guard. And the bookies would love it. Most bettors would be putting their money on the home team in the last two games.

In terms of percentage, the Pacers still have a higher chance of winning this series than the Knicks. So, it wouldn't be a surprise if the Pacers make it to the finals, even if it takes 7 games to do so.
Personally, I don't think the Pacers are going to succumb on purpose in Game 6. It just doesn't make sense because such deep runs in the playoffs are very rare for both the Knicks and Pacers. In other words, I would expect both teams to play at full strength in the upcoming game.
