They say gambling is just entertainment, and honestly, we can’t deny it, when you think about it, we’re literally paying to be entertained. And the stats don’t lie: most gamblers end up losing in the end.

So if gambling is an expensive form of fun, that must make us rich people, right?

Ok. You managed to make me laugh. You are right, that is what rich folks do. But hey, that's not what real riches do. Real riches do not spend much on their clothes, fashion, and entertainment. They like to spend money on things that cannot be considered as waste. People who become rich overnight actually show off by spending millions of dollars.

So, whoever thinks they are rich by spending money on gambling is called "Chapri" in the Indian language. This usually refers to people who are not wealthy but pretend to be wealthy. Grin

Can I consider this sentence as a satire sentence? Most of my friends who gamble, especially online gambling such as slots and casinos, are poor people who have become failures in their lives. Gambling is expensive entertainment. But not all gamblers are rich people. Gambling was indeed created as entertainment for rich people. Billionaires can throw away $ 1,000 or even $ 10,000 like it's nothing. But unfortunately, nowadays poor people use gambling as a quick way to collect money instantly. When rich people throw away $ 10,000 just for prestige and pleasure, poor people throw away their $ 100 to get tens of thousands of dollars. The conclusion is, what position are you in right now when you are gambling?

I think gambling should be done with what we can let go since winning is uncertain a rich folks can loss $10,000 while gambling and wouldn't feel he lost anything because he know he let that amount go that doesn't mean that a struggling gambler should do the same, just as you have said most poor gambler intend to get rich by gambling most of them has made gambling to be a means of surviver which has destroy the life of most of them.
Gambling should be done with the amount of money we can afford to lose incase our prediction didn't work as predicted.
