I don't think that the league has something to do with this if they want to stretch it up to game 7. It's up to Pacers and Knicks if both of them are determined to end this early as for the Pacers and to stretch to game 7 for the Knicks.
That would catch a lot of people off guard. And the bookies would love it. Most bettors would be putting their money on the home team in the last two games.
