In fact, his contract with Al Nassr will end up this June and there has been no yet on a renewal with Al Nassr but top management of the club trying to extend it. Club director Fernando Hierro said they are doing everything they can to keep Ronaldo.

After the 3-2 defeat against Al Fateh, there were reports of Ronaldo leaving the club. Ronaldo has made a great contribution to the advancement of football in the country by joining the Saudi Pro League. I think if another club in the country wants to take him, he might agree, but nothing can be confirmed yet.

Although he has not won any titles since joining Al Nassr he has done great in terms of personal performance and is scoring goals regularly. I think everyone will be watching what he decides to do in the near future and I personally think he might try to take himself out of the Saudi clubs.

Scrolled my X this morning and saw some news said that Ronaldo is staying much longer in Al Nassr. The new deal is still underway, and expect to be finalized in the coming days. Romano is also confirming it on his Ronaldo's tweet at 29 may. I think he won't leave just to play for CWC, though it's a big competition for sure.

Who knows what the hell they could come up with. I think there are all kinds of interesting ideas. What if Al Nassr is ok with giving Ronaldo away on loan basis for the CWC? Good question whether that would be allowed by the rules, but at first glance I think there is probably no rule speaking against that. If his wish is to play that CWC and at the same time Al Nassr makes him an offer with double the money, maybe this is a solution they could try to work on and still get him play all the games he wants.

There will be more rumors coming until anything has been officially announced, that is the only thing that is for sure now.
