That's pretty concise statement, and I wholeheartedly agree.

South African pacers have in general performed poorly in the Indian Premier League. The only notable exception is that of Kagiso Rabada, when he was representing the Delhi Capitals. Everyone else, including Coetzee, Ngidi and even Dale Steyn have underperformed at the IPL. I guess they can't get adjusted to the batsmen friendly conditions in India. But then another question arises. How come Australian pacers such as Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins are able to perform in India?
I really haven't seen any South African bowler perform well in this year's IPL. Luckily, Mustafizur Rahman from our country Bangladesh participated in the last three matches of the IPL and performed well. Mustafizur Rahman was named in the team in place of Mitchell Starc and Mustafizur Rahman was able to fill the absence of Mitchell Starc to a large extent.
But yesterday, Gerald Coetze, the South African bowler, bowled very poorly, conceding 51 runs in three overs, which means 17 runs per over. Out of all the bowlers for Gujarat Titans, Gerald Coetze had the worst performance, especially missing a very easy catch from Rohit Sharma, putting the team in a worse situation.
