Why is IMF thinking nothing good can come out of bitcoin? They only believe in their monetary system. Pakistan is planning to allocate 2000 megawatts of electricity for bitcoin mining but I saw IMF move against it now.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/imf-concern-pakistan-bitcoin-mining-power-planAlthough I think 2000 megawatts may be too much but why is IMF like to be a bitcoin critic? I think if it something related to their fiat, they may not say anything.
What is your opinion about this?
Before you post, know that 2000 megawatts can power some small nations.
Why is the IMF concerned about this step? It is obvious. With these funds, Pakistan will be able to continue its military actions against Afghanistan, which does not fit into the picture of the world of the powerful. It is easier to nip this possibility in the bud. In other words, to prevent the outbreak of war on a large scale. As for me, this is the right step. There is no need to have money for war. This is not what is needed in the modern world. If it is still somehow possible to sort things out with Afghanistan, then with Pakistan it is not so simple. Ideally, the financial flows of both countries should be cut off at once, so that there is no desire to continue the clash.
