I don't like Ten Hag as a coach at all. He didn't do well with Manchester United. Ten Hag was quite successful with Ajax. But after Ten Hag took over Manchester united, we saw a further decline in Manchester United's performance.
Ten Hag doesn't have much experience either. Also Ten hag added Hojlund and Antony to the United squad at Manchester United at a high price. But we didn't see good performance from these two players either. If the same thing happens again, Leverkusen will face big problems. Because they don't have enough money.
However, the situation of Ajax and Leverkusen is very similar. Although both squads have talented players, star players are few. In this case, Manchester United's situation was different. There were a lot of star players in the squad. So it was difficult to manage the Manchester United squad. So I see a small chance of Ten Hag succeeding with leverkusen
Let’s put this point blank, the people that do not like Ten Hag even after he was sacked by Manchester United are purely Ronaldo fan base if not there is nothing that I see that makes them hate him. He performed poorly at the Manchester United but post Sir Alex Ferguson era he was the second best manager they have had just behind Mourinho in my opinion. When people also put out this statement that he signed players that were not of standard at Manchester United I can’t help but wonder was he the manager that did negotiate for this players?
He would have obviously made this players his priority most especially Anthony but it is the board that do the bidding and other stuffs so paying a huge amount was definitely on the management and we all know how Manchester United have been over paying clubs for players even before he arrived. He isn’t also the first manager to actually signed a top player and it didn’t go well. So let’s give this man a breathing space
