So stablecoins are here to stay and USDC adoption will be all over the world.

So are banks!

No cryptocurrency has the power in real world to close down the banking industry. Banking is so deeply rooted in our society, that it will take centuries to come out of the banking mindset.

Cryptocurrency adoption doesn't mean that people will have to go away from the banking system. Both can co-exist and that's fine! In the world of 7 billion people, multiple currency streams can co-exist peacefully.
Sincerely I don't know why people do classify cryptocurrency and bank, in my opinion banks (fiat) and cryptocurrency are two similar things but mostly one depends on the other to be used why? If you haven't stepped into cryptocurrency market or investment you can own a bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies without having to deposit fiat into your account to buy bitcoin or any crypto coin. Now, tell why people are wanting to eliminate bank or fiat just for cryptocurrency to exist, meanwhile we have been using fiat for centuries now, and tell me how is that very possible for one to eliminate one just for the other to over take. Just as you said, they can both exist without even having to affect each others but as holder or a user of bank it's left for you to decides where to store you money, bank or bitcoin?
