Leverkusen will have a harder test than ever. I hope Erik Ten Hag does not make the mistakes he made at Manchester United.
For sure will it be very hard for Leverkusen next season with all that players that already left , specially Florian Wirtz can be not be replaced.
To be honest i am not really a fan of Erik Ten Hag and maybe its possible that we will see the same as it was in Manchester.
Fingers crossed that this will be not happen and also that they get a few new good players into the team.
Ten Hag does not have the insight of who is a quality player and if the player is worth the price tag on him. The set of players that he brought into United can only perform well in an average club because they can't coup with the pressure from a big club like United. I hope Ten Hag doesn't make the same mistakes that he made when he was a coach in United so that he does not continue with bad records.
The players he brings do not face average teams. Premier League players should always be the best because the teams they will face with Manchester United are the biggest teams in the world such as Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Chelsea. Therefore, if a transfer is to be made to Manchester United, the best players should be made. Leagues where average players play well are like the Dutch league and other European leagues. Therefore, the players who come to the Premier League always expect competition at the highest level.

The last team Erik ten Hag managed was Man United. He started off well, but things fell apart pretty quickly.not only did they miss out on the Champions League, but the team also lost its identity. Sure, he picked up a League Cup and an FA cup, but overall, it wasn’t the kind of performance you’d expect from a top level manager.

Now he’s at Leverkusen, a club that, under Xabi Alonso has found its rhythm and built a clear, exciting style of play. Ten Hag isn’t a bad coach, but the big question is whether he can carry that momentum forward or whether his well known stubbornness (which we saw a lot of at United) will hold the team back. If he tries to get by in the bundesliga with a rigid, possession heavy approach, it might not end well for him. Honestly, i think it’s not just the team that needs a reset, he does too.

So yeah, I’m hopeful. but if I’m being honest, not exactly optimistic.
