Now that PSG has joined teams like Manchester City and Chelsea who were the last two team to add their names in the Champions League winners list, when will Arsenal add their own name? It's been long overdue for Arsenal to have a taste and let the fans feel the joy of their beloved team winning the trophy. Or I'm I dreaming too much for them, shouldn't I have just said, they should concentrate on winning the league at least! But either ways, the thing is, teams like Manchester City and PSG has now left Arsenal behind and just this UCL trophy alone has given them the bragging rights over Arsenal in European football.
Arsenal is really a very sad team right now, because even though this team is nicknamed a big team in the English league and even in the world, unfortunately it does not match the achievements they have achieved so far. Because it has been a long time since Arsenal won a prestigious trophy like the Champions League or the English League. Even as far as I know Arsenal has never won the Champions League trophy until now and in my opinion this is really quite sad for a team like Arsenal. Even in the English league, the last time Arsenal won was in 2004 and if you count it until now, it has been more than two decades that Arsenal has always failed to win the English League. So I don't know what the problem is even though Arsenal has good players and their financial situation can also be said to be fine. Therefore, I personally am really surprised by this one team.
In several seasons, Arsenal has failed to win even though their performance is basically quite good. But in the end Arsenal was only able to end up in 2nd place in the English League. For next season, I personally really doubt Arsenal can win a trophy. Because currently the competition in the English league or in the Champions League is certainly very tough, so the team that really has a champion mentality will definitely be able to become the winner. And in my opinion Arsenal does not have that mentality at this time. Maybe a really mature evaluation must be done by Arsenal before next season starts.
