This is no longer new information. No need to copy anything from the explorer blockchain. You always need to be careful and use hardware wallets where you can check the sender's address. From viruses on a PC, this is a very good protection.
Aren't hardware wallets exposed too once they're connected to the internet? I'm thinking we can't check sender's address if a wallet isn't connected to the internet, right?

That's why it should be an habit to confirm the words not just the first but mid and last.
That's the way I run through mine too whenever I'm sending to a fresh address. If it's an address I'm used to sending, I just save it on the wallet app with what I will remember it with. So, whenever I'm sending I only need to type the first two letters and everything pops up. It's very convenient for me and I haven't had any issues doing it that way ever. On some occasions my eyes still run through the addresses despite saving them. I'm very paranoid and meticulous when it comes to finances. I'm never in a rush while on it.
