Agriculture , our lost glory

The worse of it is that we hardly would have an ordinary Nigerian say this right now with the current insecurity situation in the country, saying he is leaving his job in town to retire to his farm in the village. Such person will go hungry because the farm that was suppose to provide food for you will be overrun by herders.

The issue of insecurity is quite alarming in Nigeria and that has affected agriculture in the land making hardship to become unbearable as it stands now. Agricultural products use to be our main export in the recent past but what has happened now is that politicians have become indifferent to the challenges facing the system. Here we see a Vice president from Tanzania retiring back to his father's farm but same is not happening in Nigeria unfortunately. I would have shown the picture of the VP but I'm yet to get to where I can attach images for now.
Influential men in the country are the politicians, they have power in the active welfare of the country. Nigerian politicians can not retire back to their various farms, it's definitely going to be a lengthy rough one for them because it makes absolutely no sense, not after they're done embezzling public funds which was crucially meant to exert crucial actions on the nation's budget but what are we seeing? Nothing coming from them.

Our country is in her current ruins and nothing have been done about reviving her name back to the top. This is no longer a peaceful nation, complain here and there. I'm sick and tired of coming across this scenario and I just hope I'm able to bounce back with my stipends, atleast finding some good stocks to buy because it's not advisable to depend on a particular source, let's create more source to keep our lives easy and running.
