Manchester United does not actually need to sign more than five players to compete in next season's football. Only one player can make a difference in the Manchester United squad. For instance if a player like Victor Osimhen can join Manchester United, a very big difference would be made. Manchester United need world class, they need quality and not quantity.
So that is why I am so sorry for Manchester United because superb players might not agree to sign for Manchester United since they are not playing anywhere in Europe this season. But the worse will happen to Manchester United if player like Bruno Fernandez happens to leave without a good replacement.
Bruno Fernandes is currently Manchester United most valuable asset, and the club should do everything to keep him. The arrival of Matheus Cunha marks the beginning of the Ruben Amorim era, and it also signals that Manchester United will overhaul their front line. Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, Rashford, and Antony seem likely to be released, which would generate significant revenue to sign other new players.
In my opinion, Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee also deserve to be let go, both appear to be failed investments. Manchester United should really pursue a deal for a striker like Victor Osimhen. With Matheus Cunha, both of them seem capable of increasing Manchester United goal productivity next season. By focusing only on domestic competition, Ruben Amorim should be able to lead his team back to competing at the top of the standings next season.
