Making all that's a sacrifices to win the championship only to end up losing 5 nil to psh is absolutely ridiculous...we expected that match to be competitive at least a goaless draw at full time.. i still don't understand how they can just go from performing well to losing without scoring one goal.. it's quite sad that they didn't win any trophy this season.. I'm looking forward to seeing a better inter Milan next football season
It is hard to accept defeat in the final, especially with a margin of 5-0, Inter Milan appeared like a mediocre team. Many people were disappointed, because they expected the match to be fierce, considering the strength of both teams seemed quite balanced. PSG really embarrassed Inter Milan, and with his young squad, Luis Enrique managed to beat a more experienced team. It was very sad to see Simone Inzaghi lose again in the final, this is the second time in the last three seasons. The priority scale set by Simone Inzaghi has harmed them in all competitions, where Inter Milan were forced to end the season without winning any trophies. Honestly, they were lucky to beat Barcelona in the semifinals, and personally I admit that PSG deserved to get the Champions League trophy this season.
Inter had a good amount of luck in the path that brought them to those two semifinals: 3 years ago they met Porto Benfica, and Milan, none of these was a very good team. This year they had an easy opponent like Feyenoord, then they did really well against Bayern Munich, but let's not forget that the German team was missing some key players, and then there's been the crazy match against Barcelona where maybe (probably?) they didn't deserve to qualify. I was expecting Inter to do way more of course, just like everybody else, but at the same time Inter went farther than what they deserved.
