What do you expect Brad Garlinghouse to say? He would definitely want to promote his product before anti-Bitcoin forces like the IMF. Why do you think they invited him? It was a planned strategy to promote centralization. However, he used the wrong cryptocurrency to compare XRP. Hence, the best option is to ignore him. He stylishly avoided the strength of Bitcoin and just used the medium to promote XRP. But those who are knowledgeable know who the king is.
Surely, he would go for the thing that would bring him the most traction and funds.
BTC is not for that, thus, they avoid it - because they can't control it. And that's a good thing.
