Why is IMF thinking nothing good can come out of bitcoin? They only believe in their monetary system. Pakistan is planning to allocate 2000 megawatts of electricity for bitcoin mining but I saw IMF move against it now.
Everyone, including organisations, has the right to their opinion. However, Pakistan, as a sovereign state, can't be pushed around by the IMF, and the IMF doesn't have the right over them, they can only advise or voice out their concern.
Sincerely, this concern is not unreasonable, and if you are sincere too, Bitcoin's mining power consumption has always been an issue, a subject of concern globally. I only hope Pakistan knows what it's doing and has a good plan to achieve this goal.
