The future of Bitcoin is very bright because we are still in it early days, and looking at it performance in a very short time comparing to other investment that has been in existence since mankind like land and gold, it has outperform them in the last ten years, so yes, Bitcoin is here to stay and it has the potential of going up to a million dollar or more in the future.

Most people that are always criticizing  Bitcoin are just doing it due to the fact that they are just pained for missing out on it very early, while some are just skeptical about it because they have been hit very hard by one ponzi scheme or the other in the past, so they feel or think that Bitcoin is the same, some where scam all in the name of investing in Bitcoin, so they feels like the whole Bitcoin investment thing is a scam, that's why I put it down to mostly ignorance, because if they actually knows all about Bitcoin they wouldn't be acting in such a way towards Bitcoin investment.
