To the honest most people go into bitcoin cause of the profit the stand to gain if they hold it for a longer period, I've tried introducing bitcoin to several dudes and the reply I get mostly I what would I profit if I invest my money into it, they all want to profit and if you try to explain you'll see that their major attention is on the profit side.
 This makes me believe your statement and I feel that if bitcoin was like a stable coin I don't think much people would've even want to go into it.
