While growing up, it is common to see young men going to learn technical or vocational skills in Nigeria. They will become apprentices in mechanical, electrical, carpentry,  plumbing, vulcanizing, and other skills. If you go to this workshop, you will see many youths there learning skills.

These days, the number of young people who are learning this handwork has reduced drastically. These workshops These days are somehow empty and you will see mostly men in their forties and fifties.

I was discussing with a mechanic today and he told me that the youths are now focused on online jobs. He said many of the apprentices who came to learn skills dropped out. He claimed that most of them are impatient and want quick money.

He claimed that these youths are now focused on G and Naija bet. I don't know how true his reasons are. How you reason am?
him no lies atall, things don really change, the internet age don make things easy for everyone, person fit they run remote job on web3 dey earn big money, to go learn work go hard am. no be everybody dey do G or sport betting, like we wey dey on this forum, wen person see u for outside dem go reason say u be yahoo boy. them no knw say na remote work u dey do. so make dem expect more low turn out , bcos the next generation go hard pass us. but as a man try get skill, like me as i finish  university naso i go learn wallpaper installation. that time wallpaper na hot cake, i make so much money from it oh, as for last year i be wen learn furniture but time no come dey and i dey regret it now, i wish i fit create  time go learn.

The young men now, no wan struggle dem wan fast life, naso dem dey die too. no matter ur qualifications have one skill e go help you well.
