Yes there are people who are still skeptical about the future of bitcoin some is because they lack the understanding of what bitcoin is and bitcoin stood form and such has developed a negative mindset towards it.
One of the main reason behind the mass adoption of bitcoin is wide spread of the internet across the globe which without it bitcoin adoption would have been very difficult secondly some have seen that bitcoin offers a good investment return than other assets.
I believe bitcoin will surge higher than this in the global stage as more countries will build national reserves in bitcoin.
