I would love to know your opinion over this question above as it's painful to see that what you do or what gives you joy at times people often term it as something bad or possibly as an irresponsible people.
If it was you, what would you do knowing too well that people who gambles are often seen as useless people and irresponsible people due to what some fellas has presented themselves into while gambling without at least showing any sign of responsibleness. Also, What do you think can be done to see gamblers as a responsible people in our society?
In my country, it is undeniable that gambling is prohibited, and if caught, certain sanctions will be imposed. Because, gambling is considered bad. That's why, I prefer to maintain my privacy during gambling, and even as much as possible to hide it from outsiders, because it will be a negative label for me and my family.
And my response if there are people who openly state about gambling, my response:
- It's okay, because it's the same, the important thing is that he doesn't interfere with or disturb my life and doesn't ask me for money
- Give advice, if he tells me and is indicated to have a gambling addiction (it's nothing, just feel sorry for his family later)
- Reprimand, if he openly invites people to do the same gambling, with such high promises to get rich quickly (I often encounter this especially in social media comments).
But, for the rest, it will come back to each individual.
