One of the best gifts that a parent can currently give to their children is leaving an investment for them or teaching them about investment. There have been many topics about how teaching children about investment opportunities especially with bitcoins. From all those discussions, many of the opinions and perspectives are about not forcing your children to learn about bitcoin investment when they are too young.
But what of when your children are now of age and still not showing an interest in learning about bitcoin for future investments regardless of your efforts, do you pressure them then for their own good?
A parent always wishes the best for their child and tries their best to ensure a better future. When a parent makes a good effort for their child, if the child doesn't understand that good, then there's nothing the parents can do. One such good thing is the investment of Bitcoin left by parents for their children, but even then, if a child does not understand its value after reaching adulthood, what are the parents to do? In that case, I think a parent should apply pressure to make their child understand the good side if they don't understand the good side.
"Don't understand" and "not interested" are different. If they still don't understand what bitcoin is, we can pressure them to understand, just like how we forced them to learn the basics as students in school. But if they understand all about bitcoin but still don't care and have their own choice. Putting pressure or imposing your thoughts on them is not the right thing to do anymore.
We can be successful with bitcoin because we are really interested in it, like it, want it, not because we are forced to by someone. Likewise, if we want our children to be successful, then forcing and imposing thoughts is the first thing we should avoid. Force only brings negative things, especially when children are adults and fully aware of life.
