I am not expecting too much from Leverkusen next season because the team will take time to pick form since they will have a new coach and some of their key players have left the club. The new coach will decide the players to bring into the club to replace the ones that have left. That will be a lot of challenge for them because the players will need time to adapt to the new coach game pattern.
Most people doubt Ten Hag because previously Leverkusen had a coach who was able to make some big changes to the club and vice versa with some players who have left the club. But we can see next season how Ten Hag can give his best even though he needs time to adjust. At least being able to compete in the top three and qualifying for the Champions League is more than enough because it is not easy to make a team compete for the championship title with the current conditions.
