I have two observations about Portugal:
Number One:
It seems that Portugal is quietly building a team that is fit to compete in the 2026 world cup. I have seen a very strong midfield and stars like Mendez operating from the defence. It might be a lucky year for Portugal.
Ronaldo is a Monster
It will be fine if people stop criticizing Ronaldo so that he can peacefully retire. The more you criticise him with age, the more the monster in him develops.
Let's not exaggerate what what Cristiano Ronaldo is doing and not underestimate his skills. The player is playing fine, helping his teammates and proving that he is very useful and important for the Portugal national team. At his age, this requires respect and Portugal has to get used about seeing him leave them by 2026 at best.
In the game against Germany, Portugal was the dominating team and Germany failed to stay strong after they scored the goal and deserved to be eliminated. They will face France or Spain in the final match and both of them are hard opponents.
