This thread is a Martingale for many posters every month; they don't have much to lose, but they do have a post to gain.

Then, use a Martingale to win the initial bet by a 50% margin, then calculate based on that the betting margin at the maximum average return. With that, you figure out how much of your bankroll you need to win the initial bet.

Then: If your initial bet is $1, you should use those calculations to figure out how much the final bet is, then analyze the risk of having to bet hundreds of dollars, or maybe thousands, to get a return of $1.

And then, you say, okay, "I can do it because along the way... it leaves royalties, bonuses, etc."

Or
Scenario 2: It's really stupid to bet hundreds or thousands of dollars to win the initial bet.

So, people have a lot of blah, blah, blah in this thread, and little "research" or betting reality.  I ask you and any of the many who have passed by this thread, when was the last time you used Martingale?
