It's definitely a hard nut to crack by Arsenal because so far they have totally failed in all ramification to lift it. The worst part of this is that they have played only one Champions League final in their entire history which was back in 2006. If you ask me, that's not a serious team to me, you played just one final and you want to win it. I'm not sure that there are too many teams that has attempted to win the trophy on their very first trial. The mentality of the club isn't like one who wants to win that very trophy anytime soon.
Time will really tell about Arsenal, they’ve been trying to improve themselves for some times now but they don’t seem to achieve their aim. Finishing as runner up in the premier league every season is much better than them finishing in a position less than they finished in the previous year before that one. It is better they remain consistent in the premier league and maintain their position, rather then them not maintaining their position but only finishing a position less than the previous one. In the champions league, we can say that they’ve improved so well and they’re already looking to improve overtime and finish in position better than the previous one. Reaching the semifinals of the champions league is a testament to that and I’m very sure that they will improve the following season than they did now.
Improve! I don't think I'm really seeing the improvement in the team, sorry to say this. Three consecutive runners up that's not good enough. It's never an achievement when a particular team ends in a particular position at the end of every season which shouldn't be understandable. Coming second again in a season were the other top teams having problems and yet they still couldn't win the league instead it was Liverpool that turned themselves into beast mood in the league. I won't even talk about the Champions League because that competition is not yet in Arsenal's level to win as it stands now. They are not yet ready.
