The question(s) here are this: Do you believe that he is a legendary trader or that he is a shill and a fake/ scammer trader?
Judging by his antecedents, yes, he is a legend in the crypto world. And of course, he mustn't always have to be positive in his activities to achieve or maintain the rank. About the scamming, who is he going to scam, or who has he scammed? By everything known about this person, he is not a scammer.
Does he know what he is doing, or does he get lucky out of nowhere? He gets busted by manipulation tactics, or does he just speculate wrong? Just for the record, another trader who consistently counter-trading James Wynn’s positions has raked in $17 million in profits.
The short answer is that he doesn't know what he is doing. The $100m loss is way too much, and I believe he is the worst loser in the history of trading. I wonder how greedy and emotional he was to take such a huge risk in trading.
