The problem is we don't know if this Manchester United signing will actually work because in previous seasons they were said to have recruited the wrong players or not as expected therefore the fans blame the coach and is considered unable to maximize the squad.
Ten hag signed some players before he left, but the issue was that he signed the wrong set of players, the players which he signed couldn’t improve the teams performance, those players were playing well in their clubs, but as they joined Manchester United, their performance dropped, so it’s not about signing players, it’s all about signing the right set of players, Amorim will have to be very careful when signing players, he shouldn’t make the same mistake that Ten hag made, because fans will end up blaming the coach for the team’s poor performance.
Amorim isn't a coach like Ten Hag who sses an average player to be a top class player. Amorim has taste for good and quality players that will improve in their performance overtime and not players that can only perform well when they're in small clubs. I believe that Amorim knows the right players to buy that will not disappoint in carrying out their duties in order to win trophies for club.
