I want to buy IBIT ((Blackrock iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF) and BITO (ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF) in Fidelity account. IBIT is a a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) with low fee 0.25% directly holds actual Bitcoin in its asset. BITO is the future contracts trading monthly with higher management fee 0.95%. BITO has a contango problem by rolling futures contracts can erode returns compared to spot Bitcoin. BITO pays monthly dividend that I can apply dividend reinvestment. Hacker can hack IBIT but can not hack BITO. In the long run IBIT or BITO which one is the best ETF to invest? Thanks.
Can you be a bit more precise about what you want to do? Because I don't see any IBIT or BITO in Fidelity ETFs/ETPs. Also, how do you know that the one can be hacked while the other can't? As for which one is best in the long run, the answer is none. Just buy BTC and keep them as long as you can. The longer, the better.
