Something has been bothering me sometimes now which I have made consultation but could not get convinceable response.
So the things is How does the merit sources pick posts for merits? Do they have bots that specifically identifies those posts like filtering a thread to find worth quality post to merit? Or just hovering around threads in their specified board they are in charge off and then merits randomly according to their own decisions?
I am curious because I see posts that is more qualified for merits but ignored while lower quality posts at being merited or could it also mean there is favouritism in there?
I am not a merit source but I believe sources that don't have any bot that helps them pick what posts qualifies to be merited.
They simply go around in the board they manage reading different threads and comments and sending merits to the posts and comments they best see as qualified..
But all the same and in my own personal opinion, I will say that we can't rule out the fact that there is definitely a degree of favoritism in the way or process some merit sources choose to distribute their merit, but we can't really do much about it since it's their call, they have the yam and the knife and have the complete liberty to choose who to favor and who not to
