I'm not trusting the leadership of Ten Hang as Leverkusen head coach to continue where Alonso stopped or even raise the bar, in terms of maintaining the team's form and the position they've raised themselves to in the Bundesliga league. You mention his success with the Ajax young team some, but he didn't prove his capacity in Manchester United, and besides his success with Ajax were not actually replicated at Man united.
Heard some rumors about Cesc Fàbregas possibly coming to Leverkusen to replace Alonso, but still has some linkage with going to coach Inter Milan.
Nobody trusted the leadership of Vincent Kompany when he first signed for Bayern Munich because he was just coming from a team in the premier league, Burnley which was just relegated at only one chance in the premier league coming from the championship. Kompany in his first year was able to change everything about Bayern Munich and won them their trophy back after losing it to Bayern Leverkusen in his first year managing the team.
Bayern Leverkusen is still a very strong team regardless if they changed the manager or not or even if they lose some players to other clubs. When you’ve built yourself to be feared by other teams, they will still fear you even though the players that built that courage in the team are no more playing for the team. I have trust in Eric Ten Hag and we should give him some benefits of doubt and see how he excel through the season with the team before criticizing him and coming to a conclusion.
Next season I believe that Leverkusen is still going to be a threat to bayern munich in the bundesliga title race the structure and foundation has already been laid down by Xavi so I believe that ten hang is going to consolidate on the good work of Xavi Alonso just like the way that Liverpool succeeded when klopp left because the right environment was already created before he left club i see that same think happening in Leverkusen
