I actually think them losing Xabi Alonso as coach and some players is going to cost them Silverware in the coming season. Bayer Leverkusen will be like the Old Borussia Dortmund that would most of the time play second fiddle to Bayern Munich.
Building a team that coordinates so well like Bayer Leverkusen did last season takes a lot of time.
But looking at the club before now, I mean Bayern Leverkusen wasn't even a team that anyone would have thought will win the league anytime soon. Xabi Alonso really transformed the team and raised the bar high, this means that for the next few seasons to come, the fans will really demand a lot from the coach that will take over from him. Bayern Leverkusen was never in contention for the league, let's wait and see how it will end this new season.
