Bayern Leverkusen is still a very strong team regardless if they changed the manager or not or even if they lose some players to other clubs. When you’ve built yourself to be feared by other teams, they will still fear you even though the players that built that courage in the team are no more playing for the team. I have trust in Eric Ten Hag and we should give him some benefits of doubt and see how he excel through the season with the team before criticizing him and coming to a conclusion.
I actually think them losing Xabi Alonso as coach and some players is going to cost them Silverware in the coming season. Bayer Leverkusen will be like the Old Borussia Dortmund that would most of the time play second fiddle to Bayern Munich.

Building a team that coordinates so well like Bayer Leverkusen did last season takes a lot of time.

Bayern Munich dominance in the Bundesliga will be very difficult to break, it will take momentum and great luck to be able to beat them in the competition. Losing Xabi Alonso will certainly be a big loss, he is a key figure behind Leverkusen success. In addition, the departure of players like Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong could also cause Leverkusen to lose balance in the squad, especially if Ten Hag fails to find a suitable replacement.

Even finishing in the runner-up position will be very difficult if Dortmund recovers next season, Ten Hag certainly realizes that his responsibility is very heavy, and he must be able to adapt quickly. Xabi Alonso took a good step for the development of his managerial career, I think every young manager also does not want to miss the offer that came from Real Madrid.
