I just came across an interesting article about "Address Poisoning Attack" and I thought it was worth sharing.
These types of scams can definitely be tricky, so it is very important to stay informed to keep our funds safe.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/address-poisoning-attacks-in-cryptoNote; Address Poisoning attack invole tampering with cryptocurrency address, exploiting human error rather than vulnerabilities in blockchain security.
That is really very thoughtful of you. A lot of us, especially the newbies like myself didn't even know that this kind of scam exist. It's so scary how scammers can copy similar wallet address just to confuse people into sending funds to the wrong place.
This kind of info is exactly why forum like this is very necessary. We learn from each other, so as to always stay ahead of this scammers. From now on I will ensure I double check wallet addresses before I make any transactions. Thanks again.
One of the perks on hovering and reading up various informations from this forum on which it would be giving out that kind of awareness on different things on which this will be that not only talking about on scams but also in other things as well on which as long it would be that beneficial for you then keep continuing on reading up informations that you can read up into this forum but of course you should be that still careful on whatever informations you do be able to read up if its something that odd or unrealistic then you can always ask in the community and making up some verification whether its a real information or not. Now going back into this new way of hacking or scamming people on sending out some transactions that do look the same into their address. Just like on what other people been saying that this is a tedious tasks for scammers since this would be involving up some research because they cant just that send out some dust transactions on random address and they would be needing up to find up some wallet or create a new one then make up some research whether the next one or similar looking address does have balance or not. If there's none then they would be creating up another wallet until they would be able to hit up wallets that does have that balance. If this turned out to be a headline then it do means that this one is working and thats why for those people who do have bigger balance then they should be that careful but its that hard to believe that you would be able to make up some careless paste before you do make out some transfer. Surprisingly there are still people who do get victimized on this way on which its not that hard to observe out about those differences.
