It’s really not a good strategy, but I can’t completely say it’s a failed one either, I also had a good run with Martingale when I used it before. Most people who tried it had some good runs too, but not consistently, because there's no such thing. That’s the problem with players using Martingale, they think it can work continuously and don't know when to stop. You can't win in the long run no matter what strategy you use, because that’s just the nature of gambling. And when you combine that with a gambler’s greedy nature, disaster it is.
