at asiska02 it is a job and sources do not get paid to do it. so some just dump merits and some hoard merits.

I am only human they are times I am far to busy to read for hours to give merits and the merits end up stacking.

At your age, if you still read for hours before getting to merit a post, then all post merited are worthy of earning some from you. You must be a good reader when younger because the young ones nowadays don’t get encouraged to sit down and read for hours, they’re more inclined to the action than the theoretical understanding of what they’re engaging in.

Thank you.  I am older 68 and semi retired so I have more time to read posts than many others do.  But it really takes a lot of time to read them. Plus to decide when and if I should drop a merit or 2 or 3.

Okay, I’m curious to know if getting older gives you more ample time to spend reading or it’s just your hobby from onset and you can’t do without it most of the time. I know older people like you around that are more focused on discussing more about politics and governance at their age more often and also reflecting more about their past in their places of relaxations or chambers. They don’t like to read because they see it as the thing of the young ones at the age they are that time.
