I actually never really did any coin joins, mainly because I was always worried that I would end up with something that though not technically tainted would show signs of having been mixed and then could be problematic in the future. I have no idea if there's any merit to that line of thought or not, but I just never did it.
My thought on this is if you never do it but one day need to then it will stick out like a sore thumb.
Yeah, I've thought about that too. It's kind of a catch-22, isn't it? I don't know what the better way to go is and now that the most respected coin join is down...
I also was weirded out by other things, the fact that samourai uses your xpub or did, and then there's wasabi, and that whole feud, and then accusing each other of being spooks, but I wasabi still going, which is weird, isn't it?
