Absolutely you're right about people wanting to work in that field of study in which they have graduated from bit at the same time pride is another factor that limits them to achieve that because most of them are going for jobs that pay higher with other requirements forgetting that they would start small and gradually by the day get to that very point and position they want. So this is what they need to understand.
The reason for this is that we expect so much from life. As young people, most of the time we predict life and draft plans about how we want to see ourselves and where we need to be. But at a certain point in life, we don't always get exactly what was planned, and many people find it difficult to pursue something that is different from their expectations. However, for those who truly understand life and know that it can't always give you what you want, it is not a big deal to divert to something else, and life continues.
Sometimes life journey doesn't always go according to plan, so take the opportunities available and use them as steps to climb to the next stage. If you don't want to take it, there will always be someone else who will take the opportunity, and you will continue to be at the same point without change, hoping another for better luck to come, when in fact it is another form of lying to yourself. It could be that you will be the best at the job, and get the position you have always wanted after doing it.
Many people do it, and their lives are going well, so don't be embarrassed. It doesn't matter to start from a low level, there is a lot of experience that can be gained, it will be the path to the next stage. Be patient and consistent, with that I am sure everyone will succeed in reaching a certain point they want.
