Won? Or he lost the money that did not belong to him but that belong to people. According to what your later included in your post, it is about money misappropriation and more of the money is used for gambling while the remaining is used for personal use.

It is highly possible that the person loses the money, or else the person could have returned the money to avoid his current situation.

This kind of news is not new. I do not know the reason some people are not learning from the mistakes of others.

True there are lots of story like this that can be found on the internet, there are even documentaries about people who lost their job because they steal something from the company.



It is possible that the guy has an uncontrolled urge to gamble or believes in the fallacy that eventually he will win which never happened.  This is one example that we must always be in control when engaging in gambling and make a self-promise not to touch any finances that is not ours just to play in gambling because once tried, it will always have a continuation until we woke up in reality that we are already buried in debts.  Worse if we misappropriate company money, we not only have debt but we will find ourselves lost our job and  in prison once convicted of the crime.
