Not every coach is as fortunate and lucky as zidane or even Liverpool coach slots who both won trophies at their first season that was because they met teams that where already built and was in a good shape but this is not that can of madrid team that am seeing so even if Xavi Alonso doesn't win a trophy at his first season he should be given the benefit of the doubt building a team should be madrid first targets before thinking of trophies
Zidane can't be added in the same class as Arne Slot. It wasn't pure luck because he won the Champions League thrice in a row with the same team and this is not an easy feat.
Xabi Alonso can lift a trophy in the first season but I doubt want to have high expectations, the squad he is having is good and the main reason for me why Real Madrid couldn't lift the league last season was because of their injury woes thankfully thr squad is being strengthened especially the defense that has been becoming weaker in recent seasons, let's see how the team integrate.
