When Marseille and PSG were playing their second match this season, Marseille brought out their UEFA Champions League trophy to mock PSG and remind PSG they still remain the only French club to ever win the prestigious UEFA Champions League trophy. PSG will be happy they beat Inter Milan in the final and win the UEFA Champions League trophy because they have now joined Marseille as the only French clubs to win the UEFA Champions League trophy, and there's nothing Marseille will use to mock PSG again
Whether we should be proud or not, but Marseille's glory is in the past, even that was a very long time ago, a long time ago. Marseille became the UCL torphy champion in 92/93, this was really a long time ago. And they should be ashamed to show it off because it was very old and even now they don't have that power.
Even this season PSG made history by winning the Quadruple trophy; namely:
- Champion League,
- French Ligue 1,
- Coupe de France, and also
- Trophee des Champions.
