At least said retailers have more BTCs than bigger players as of now.

About 17% of all Bitcoin is in the hands of retail investors — that’s roughly 3.6 million BTC held in wallets with less than 10 BTC each.

Institutions? Here's how it breaks down:
• Public companies: ~700k BTC (~3.3%)
• ETFs and similar platforms: ~1.3M BTC (~6.2%)
• Exchanges and custodians: ~1.84M BTC (~8.8%)
• Governments: ~508k BTC (~2.4%)

That brings the institutional share to about 4.35 million BTC, or ~20.7% of total supply.
