Google AI says it is possible using merkle trees.
Clarification: real users said, that it is possible, and a lot of AIs just repeat their content. But as usual, there is some hallucination in that.
The Merkle proof only verifies the presence of the transaction within the block, not the identity of the sender or receiver.
Which means, that the proof is incomplete, and this is how you can tell, if something is just some AI hallucination, or if it was written by a real human. AI can tell you, that you can just verify some hash, without looking into hashed content. Real cryptographer would tell you instead, how to verify the data behind that hash, without having to reveal it.
